Learners already registered onto them prior to 2015 have 2 years to complete the program. NEW Learners will do the exact same content as listed in these Units, but will do them as part of the Generic Adventure Site Guide Skills Program.[/alert]

The Generic Adventure Site Guide program (GASG) may be used to qualify in any adventure based activity, but this specific additional qualification can be used for those who would like a specific technical certificate which is registered with the SA Qualifications Authority.

People in particular who do not guide professionally, but who would like proof of competence could use these to fill this need.
